Design Problem 1
Repeat and rotate one or more letterforms to create an engaging black and white pattern.
Apply different color combinations to the pattern to create a range of visual effects. Experiement with hue, value, and saturation, as well as analogous, complementary, and near complementary color juxtapositions to change the way the patterns fell and behave. Through selective emphasis, some elements pull forward and others recede.

Color Full
image size: 8” x 8”
dpi: original 300, web 72
image mode: RGB color
From left to right: Black and White aka colorless (those are colors too), Green and Gray, and Color “R”eel
created using Adobe Photoshop 4
*This task was pretty difficult for me.  I would say the most difficult parts were finding the proper text to use (aka letterform).  I finally decided on an “R” for Racca, in TImes New Roman.  I basically just reduplicated it and rotated it, and then scaled it down relative to the original and then reduplicated that as well.  So yeah…
**so i just did this like a few minutes ago, but the dumb internet lost my post so now I’m doing it again.
Enjoy!
